Sophie is an undergraduate student in the School of Foreign Service from Ellicott City, Maryland. With a background in dance and music, she is excited to be combining her passion for the arts with her interest in international affairs through her work with The Lab. Majoring in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a concentration in Biotechnology and Global Health, Sophie is committed to exploring how law, governance, and diplomacy can address health disparities on the global scale. Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring the DC area.
At a time characterized by polarization and distrust, the need for approaches that humanize others through narrative and empathy has never been greater. The Lab is dependent on outside funding in order to make our work possible.
