Madeleine Kelley is a Brooklyn-based theater-maker. She manages The Lab’s Karski project. She has written two plays: Ms. Blue Sky, a play about Title IX, Christine Blasey Ford, and Anita Hill, which was produced as a part of the 2019 FreePlay Festival, and more recently, Convention, a drag show about the Libertarian Party and political rhetoric. Acting credits include: Henry VIII, Hamlet, Three Days in the Country, The Book of Lucy, and Brainpeople. She holds a BA in Performance Studies and English from Georgetown University, and an MFA in Acting from NYU’s Graduate Acting Program.
At a time characterized by polarization and distrust, the need for approaches that humanize others through narrative and empathy has never been greater. The Lab is dependent on outside funding in order to make our work possible.
