Camila Madero is a second-semester sophomore in the College majoring in English and Theater. She is also a transfer student from Amherst College, which is where she explored theater and improv for the first time. Although she has always had a deep passion for art primarily through the mediums of paint and film, she has recently been exploring the world of theater. This past summer she participated in writing/directing/acting in several student film productions and attended the Stella Adler Summer Conservatory for acting. At Georgetown, she has had the joy of playing Tiresias the Grey in Sophocle’s “Antigone”, Cecily in Oscar Wilde’s “Importance of Being Earnest”, and Young Woman in Sophie Treadwell’s “Machinal”. She is a member of Georgetown’s Mask and Bauble Society, Nomadic Theatre, Sketch Comedy, and The Lab.
