Ashanee Kottage is a junior in the SFS majoring in STIA and minoring in TPST. She was born and raised in Combo, Sri Lanka but continues to find home in the nexus between art and science at Georgetown. She is passionate about dance, spicy food, bidet showers, and amplifying South Asian voices in the arts (in no particular order).
At a time characterized by polarization and distrust, the need for approaches that humanize others through narrative and empathy has never been greater. The Lab is dependent on outside funding in order to make our work possible.
