Amber Nguyen is a junior in the College studying English, Women’s and Gender Studies (WGST), and Performing Arts. Outside of The Lab for Global Performance and Politics, Amber is involved with the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA), Black Movements Dance Theatre (BMDT), and Bossier. She has also explored her passion for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) advocacy by working with Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC as a policy intern, and OCA- Asian Pacific American Advocates as a programs intern and civic engagement intern.
This year, Amber looks forward to combining her passions for politics and art as a Student Fellow with The Lab. In her free time, Amber can be found baking, watching tv, and playing with her dog.
