Shanshan Lin is an international student from China, currently pursuing a Master’s in Communication, Culture, and Technology at Georgetown University. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in Global Studies, concentrating on comparative international development. Her previous academic studies introduced her to nonprofits, community development, and an interdisciplinary focus on social issues. Shanshan is also interested in how culture and media intertwine in society. Studying another interdisciplinary program at Georgetown will allow her to gain a more comprehensive understanding of culture, media, and society.
