Marzia Amiri is a second-year Master of Science in Foreign Service student at Georgetown
University, concentrating on International Development. She joined the lab as an Administration
and Programs Assistant. Through her work at The Lab, she is eager to learn how art and
theatrical performance can shape our understanding of cultures and bring people together
through mutual understanding.
At a time characterized by polarization and distrust, the need for approaches that humanize others through narrative and empathy has never been greater. The Lab is dependent on outside funding in order to make our work possible.
