Jonathan Scinto is a second-year graduate student in the Communications, Culture, and Technology program. He has had a longtime interest in history and the performing arts, both of which began during high school. During high school, he played several supporting roles in school productions such as The Importance of Being Earnest and I Hate Shakespeare. From there, he completed his undergraduate degree at William & Mary, with a major in history and a minor in film and media studies. At the CCT program, he plans to research topics regarding privacy and how large corporations handle user data.
In his free time, Jonathan enjoys watching and reviewing movies, doing crossword puzzles, going out to restaurants, and spending time with his family and cat. His interest in the arts excites him to work with The Lab because of their mission of using storytelling to humanize global issues.
