Hassan Amin is an undergraduate student in the School of Foreign Service pursuing a B.S. in International Economics. Originally from Pakistan, Hassan is primarily based at Georgetown University in Qatar (GUQ) but is currently spending a semester abroad at the Hilltop campus in Washington, DC.
At Georgetown, Hassan works as a Webmaster for the Laboratory for Global Performance and Politics while also serving as a Student Engagement Specialist during his time in DC. Back at GUQ, his experience in the Innovation Lab allowed him to explore digital scholarship and visual communication across various campus projects.
Hassan is actively involved in campus life through Model United Nations and previously served in the Student Government Association at GUQ. He participated in the Doha-DC Dialogue, which focused on social justice initiatives and cultural exchange between Georgetown’s campuses.
Beyond academics, Hassan enjoys exploring how technology can address environmental challenges, an interest sparked by his earlier work with the World Wildlife Fund in Pakistan.
