Sarah Khan is freshman in the SFS hoping to major in Culture and Politics and minor in Justice and Peace Studies and French. She first learned the importance of a single story through working with refugees and foster kids, and that approach has allowed her advocacy to be fueled by compassion. She likes to describe herself as a realistic optimist with a sharp tongue and an even sharper sense of style.
Although she still has much to learn, she lives her life through this simple guiding philosophy passed down by her father: if one has ability and opportunity, then she has a responsibility to help others.
