Samie is a senior in the SFS studying Culture and Politics with a focus on the role of the arts in shaping historical narratives and identity formation. She is also a Film and Media Studies minor, which has given her the opportunity to develop her interest in multimedia storytelling. As a Lab Student Fellow, she is most looking forward to learning from the talents and creativity of my peers and using the collaborative space to find artistic inspiration.
At a time characterized by polarization and distrust, the need for approaches that humanize others through narrative and empathy has never been greater. The Lab is dependent on outside funding in order to make our work possible.
