Kavya Shah is a sophomore student in the Walsh School of Foreign Service, majoring in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a concentration in Biotechnology and Global Health. She has been a dancer for the last 13 years and has worked on several cross-cultural performance collaborations. On-campus, she is also a dancer on GU Jawani, Georgetown’s premier Bhangra team.
At a time characterized by polarization and distrust, the need for approaches that humanize others through narrative and empathy has never been greater. The Lab is dependent on outside funding in order to make our work possible.
