Dennese is a senior in the college majoring in English and Government with a minor in art history. She is currently working on a collection of prose poetry exploring the contemporary social, political, and cultural atmosphere. Dennese is also a Fellow at the Lannan Center for Poetics and Social Practice, serves as the Director of the Midnight Mug, and teaches English through the Center for Social Justice. She is excited to work with the Lab Team and the other Fellows this year!
At a time characterized by polarization and distrust, the need for approaches that humanize others through narrative and empathy has never been greater. The Lab is dependent on outside funding in order to make our work possible.
