Margaret Gleason (she/her) is a junior in the College majoring in Theater and Performance Studies, with minors in Music and Justice and Peace Studies. Originally from Eugene, OR, she comes to the Lab Student Fellowship having worked in political activism through the gun violence prevention group March For Our Lives and has engaged in cultural diplomacy through the State Department’s Kennedy-Lugar YES Abroad scholarship to Bulgaria in 2017. These experiences, combined with a lifelong passion for the performing arts, led her to Georgetown where she strives to address pressing world issues and expand her cultural worldview with an artistic lens in projects such as directing Hedda Gabler with Mask and Bauble Dramatic Society and choreographing for Rangila. Past work with the Lab and TPST Program include associate producing the Flash Acts Festival and appearing as Torgus in Torgus and Snow by Christine Evans.
