Lorelei is an undergraduate student in the College of Arts and Sciences from Seattle, Washington. With plans to study linguistics and journalism, she is particularly interested in the ways in which we communicate information, and how the language and media we consume change how we see the world. She is looking forward to further exploring her academic and professional interests and her first love — theater — through her work at the Lab. Outside of these pursuits, Lorelei enjoys traveling, reading, and discovering new local cafes.
At a time characterized by polarization and distrust, the need for approaches that humanize others through narrative and empathy has never been greater. The Lab is dependent on outside funding in order to make our work possible.
