Jamie Gahlon (she/her/hers) is an arts leader, cultural organizer, and producer who believes in the transformative power of theatre and performance. In 2011 Jamie co-founded HowlRound Theatre Commons, a free and open platform for theatremakers worldwide that amplifies progressive and disruptive ideas about theatre to advance equity and justice in the arts field. Jamie held several roles at HowlRound during her fifteen year tenure, most recently leading the platform from 2018-2025. Concurrently, Jamie served as Interim Senior Director and Associate Vice President for the Office of the Arts at Emerson College from 2023-2025. Jamie previously worked at Arena Stage, New York Stage & Film, and the New Victory Theatre. Jamie holds a B.S. in Culture & Politics from Georgetown University and an MA in Performance Curation from Wesleyan University. She lives in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts with her husband, two young kids, and very old cattle dog.
