Alyssa graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor’s degree in Global Health and a minor in Theology. Her passion for politics and performance stems back to her time in high school at the Orange County School of the Arts where she studied acting and directing, and directed an adaptation of Eve Ensler’s Emotional Creature. In the summer of 2019, she received funding from Georgetown’s Social Innovation and Public Service Fund to workshop social justice theatre in high schools in Soweto, South Africa. This experience then led her to the Lab where she now works as an Administrative Assistant. Alyssa is most excited to combine her interests in global health, politics, and performance in upcoming Lab projects. In the Fall of 2021, Alyssa will be pursuing a Fulbright Scholarship in Cambodia.
